Although there are lots of methods that are available for those that have milder scarring from acne, there aren’t as many options for those that have the deep, pitted scars called ice-pick scars. These scars are deep and catch the shadows in order that they are way more conspicuous. They are hard to cover since they’re so deep and are thus frequently the thrust to find the treatment which will help to smooth them out of the skin. There are acne scar removal methods that are all very painful and often have to be paired with other natural acne scar treatments so that the milder scars around the deep ones can be smoothed out too. The acne scar removal treatments are just what they sound like. The deep scars are removed surgically and the skin that remains is stitched back together to form a smaller, smoother scar.

Better Methods?

The Acne Scar Treatment doesn’t sound as if it might be effective ; however , the scar that remains is less noticeable and better to cover than the deep, ice-pick scar that was once there. There are more methods besides the acne scar removal treatment that can be used, such as punch elevation. In the punch elevation strategy, not like the acne scar removal treatment, only the base of the scar is cut away from the skin thatis holding it at the base. In this manner, the base of the scar can be raised to the outside of the skin where it is held with a strip or glue till it heals at surface level. This technique can be successful if the sides of the pitted scar are flat so that the finished look will be as smooth as possible.

Another sort of method thatis used in the place of the acne scar removal treatment is that of fillers. In this method, the scars are filled in by using a filling agent that is made from silicone or other material. In this manner, the skin is raised up to the level of the other skin and the scar is not very conspicuous any longer. In all these methods the person which must take time off work to heal. The last method will cause the least time to recover but the others will usually require a week to heal. The acne scar removal treatment will also require about that amount of time to fix as does the punch method.

So as you can see there are quite a few ways to tackle the problem of acne scarring, some strategies will work really well for you while there may be others, though they may work really well for others, will not. Making a choice on which type of treatment to select is a very personal one and you may even find that you will have to try quite a few ways of tackling the problem before you find the one that works best for you. The important thing is to keep on trying, don’t just continue to suffer with it, make a move and you may find that it is easier to get some relief than you thought.
