Although there are plenty of methods that are available for people that have milder scarring from acne, there arenot as many options for those who have the deep, pitted scars called ice-pick scars. These scars are deep and catch the shadows so that they are more conspicuous. They are difficult to cover since they’re so deep and are thus regularly the momentum to find the treatment that will help to smooth them out of the skin. There are acne scar removal methods that are all very painful and generally have to be paired with other natural acne scar treatments so the milder scars around the deep ones can be smoothed out also. The acne scar removal treatments are just what they sound like. The deep scars are removed surgically and the skin that remains is stitched back together to form a smaller, smoother scar.
Better Alternatives?
The Acne Scar Treatment doesnot sound as if it’d be effective ; however , the scar that remains is less conspicuous and better to cover than the deep, ice-pick scar that was once there. There are other strategies besides the acne scar removal treatment that may be used,eg punch elevation. In the punch elevation method, in contrast to the acne scar removal treatment, only the bottom of the scar is cut away from the skin that’s holding it at the base. In this way, the base of the scar can be raised to the surface of the skin where it is held with a strip or glue till it heals at surface level. This strategy can become successful if the sides of the pitted scar are flat so the finished look will be as smooth as possible.
Another type of method that’s used in place of the acne scar removal treatment is that of fillers. In this method, the scars are filled in by using a filling agent that is made from silicone or other material. In this way, the skin is raised up to the level of the other skin and the scar is not terribly conspicuous any longer. In all these methods , however , the person will need to take time off work to heal. The last methodology will cause the least time to recover but the others will usually require a week to cure. The acne scar removal treatment will also need about that period of time to heal as does the punch method.
So as you have read here there are several ways to tackle the problem of acne scarring, some treatments will work really well for you while there may be others, though they may work really well for others, will not. When deciding upon which type of treatment to choose is a very individual one and you may even find that you will have to try several ways of tackling the problem before you find the one that is the best for you. The important thing is to keep trying, don’t just continue to suffer with it, make a move and you may find that it is easier to get some relief than you thought.
