Though there are many methods that are available for those that have milder scarring from acne, there aren’t as many options for those who have the deep, pitted scars called ice-pick scars. In this way, the skin is raised up to the level of the other skin and the scar is not awfully noticeable any longer. In all these methods the person will have to take time off work to fix. The last method will cause the least time to recover but the others will customarily require a week to heal. The acne scar removal treatment will also need about that period of time to heal as does the punch method.

So as you can see there are quite a few ways to tackle the issue of acne scarring, some ways will work really well for you while there may be others, though they may work really well for others, will not. Making a choice on which type of treatment to choose is a very individual one and you may even discover that you will have to try quite a few ways of tackling the problem before you find the one that works best for you.
